battery security camera review 1

This security camera exceeded my expectations. Upon opening the box I already knew the camera was in top quality condition.

from the box to the camera itself everything felt sturdy and not cheaply made. the standard of the video is sweet especially the night-sight.

it looked so clear. you would like a sim card or the cloud edge app storage which they provide a 7 day trail period, to store or record footage.

the safety footage is played on your telephone or tablet device.

after installing the cloud edge app that’s needed you get to line up options concerning the camera. Notifications are set to your phone, when the camera senses movement your phone will provide you with a warning . The camera itself comes with a mount that’s a magnet that’s it in by screws to any a part of your house.

This device is totally wireless meaning no cords or wires to function, it’s travel by soley wifi signal. The camera also features a inbuilt intercom that you simply operate through your smart phone. I highly recommend this product and that i would definitely buy another!!!

This camera was very easy and quick to line up. The app works great and therefore the picture is clearer than clear. The motion detection works well And it snaps excellent pictures when it sees motion.

so if there ever may be a need for photo evidence due to an opportunity in it vandalism etc. you’ll definitely have it! I unfortunately had to get some more things that I wasn’t expecting to shop for to use it to its full capacity.

Not an excellent deal breaker, but it had been a touch of a hassle. It doesn’t accompany the power to record.

you’ve got to get an SD card which was a somewhat easy cheap fix. the opposite thing is that this is often an outside battery operated camera that runs on WiFi so it must be on the brink of the router and most outdoor locations in my house anyway weren’t close enough.

I wanted to mount it over my driveway to stay an eye fixed on the cars in the dark.

but unfortunately my router for WiFi is on the other end of the house and therefore the signal was too low to use it within the driveway without a WiFi booster.

i will be able to probably eventually buy one except for now the camera is getting used on behalf of me to spy on my three dogs while I’m away and it’s working well for that.

This is a pretty nice little camera. The magnet mount is a nice strong mount to the camera but there is only one screw to hold the mount and its a slide on so it’s a little downer.

I wish it had a 3-hole screw mount like their other mounting option. The other mount, the camera has to screw onto the mount.

The video is good quality. Being a battery operated camera, they have used what I can assume is an actual motion sensor to activate and turn on the video. Same motion you would find in an alarm motion sensor. Having this, there is no way to mask off any activity that you don’t want tripping your camera as with powered cameras.

They use a algorithm in changing pixels in the video to start the recording and portions of the screen can be blocked out and ignored if needed. There is also a small delay in recording after the motion is activated. It also seems like I’m not allowed to access the camera remotely if the camera is not actively recording.

There are settings to really limit the amount of recording and save battery life. These settings have been applied so far and the battery is at 90% after about 10 days inside where there are 4 of us in the most active room of the house. I just changed the settings to see how it will last now. There is a 7 day trial of cloud storage and no ftp option for storing video other than the onboard SD card (not included).
