mevo live event camera review 1
This camera is meant for specifically for streaming. For my viewers it works well and as intended. i exploit it for FB Live, church services each Sunday. Most of my are viewing on small screens, i.e. smartphones and tablets. For this purpose it works well as 1080P. Especially because that’s the max available FB Live this point .
I enjoy the straightforward set-up.I anticipate to using the NDI features within the future. it’s my intention to get a minimum of 2 or 3 more, to be more creative when the multi-camera app is out there . The very small compact size is additionally a pleasant feature because it are often placed on the brink of the topic and not be an obstruction to the onsite audience.
Getting this camera was one of the best decisions
Getting this camera was one of the best decisions I’ve made to improve my workflow. It’s very easy to use with the phone app. I use it wirelessly for live-streaming content on YouTube and Twitch, collaborating remotely with other musicians, and I also use it wired with Zoom to teach music lessons. I–was hesitant at first because I am a photographer and I am picky with the products I get, but this one totally surprised me positively.
think this camera is very versatile and you can hook it up to pretty much anything. A tripod, a mic stand, a table stand. It’s been really useful to get those overhead shots that are so complicated to set up without the proper equipment.
The Mevo Start impressed me with the pristine video and audio quality. It has the perfect wide angle image as well as a dedicated array of mics that sound as good as most pro audio recorders out there. It’s awesome to get all these perks in one single package. I’ve had this camera for less than a month and I find myself using it every day now.
Totally recommend it for anyone who’s looking to level-up their video production skills or live-streaming setup.
mevo live event camera review 2
In the new covid world, my company and that i have had to believe live streaming panels and other events more often than within the past, and that we were having a troublesome time getting high-enough quality with traditional webcams. We recently got the Mevo Start, which has been great. The video quality is 1080p.
and therefore the app allows you to stream live to multiple platforms (such as Facebook Live and YouTube) simultaneously. There are other cool features too like easy editing from the app that I hadn’t considered when buying, but actually are available handy. Looking forward to using this product to host more virtual events within the future!
– No external/extra batteries required
– Will record continuously without cutting the video in to clips
– Mobile app control is easy to use and the different views are really nice and is really easy to use
– The battery lasts at least 4 hours
– It works with my existing tripods
– Live feed to Facebook/Youtube is SUPER EASY
– It’s small. I don’t need a case for it because there’s no accessories needed. It fits in a tiny purse.
– After about an hour it starts burning/fading certain scenes (I have a ticket created at Mevo)
– Even the SD recording looks pixelly and doesn’t look like it’s HD
– It’s difficult to turn it on and off. You have to hold the power button down for quite some time and you never know if it’s on or off
